Football, Hiking & Fly Fishing

Yes, we did it all today! Parker had his first football game of the season bright and early this morning. Unfortunately, they did not win but I thought they played well for their first game. This is a tournament so we have two more games tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed!

Then we drove down to Colorado Springs and went to a hiking trail called Seven Falls - actually we went to a smaller one called Helen Hunt which was right next to it. Absolutely beautiful - will share pics. On the way home we went thru Deckers, a small town that is known for some good fly fishing. Grayson and Jason fished for a while and then we headed home. Grayson actually caught a fish!!

One more thing....

Wow - I don't post in forever and then 2 posts in one day! Just had to show you something I put up in my kitchen. It is from Stampin' Up!'s Definitely Decorative catalog. (If you haven't checked it out - you must!) These are the vinyl letters/pictures that you adhere to the wall. They have all sorts of sayings, monograms and kid themes. Here is a link to the site and you can go to the sidebar which has the decor elements . http://www.stampinup.com/us/enu/definitely_decorative.asp

If you find something you like contact me or you can order online thru my website.

School is back in full swing!

Hello everyone!

Just like my title says, "School is back in full swing!" that means everything else is too. Parker is playing football with practices 4 nights a week plus an "optional" practice on Saturday's. We had football weigh -ins yesterday (mad-house) and we have a tackle hunger food drive today. Grayson has finished up golf and is back to playing the baritone in the band at school. So that means going to school early for practice....

In early August I was able to go to my first Stampin' Up! Convention - it was sooo fun!! It just like a girl's slumber party with just a bunch of fun stuff to do. I will share some pics of our trip below.

I had a card class this past Thursday and had 2 new girls show (my neighbor's - both of their names are Kim) plus Kathy's daughter, Jennifer. We had a great time - it was fun making cards plus just catching up with everyone.

I really encourage you if you have not made cards before you need to contact me - it is so much fun. For those of you who live away - I can make up card packets and send to you for a girls night out - something to think about! :)

Take care!
