Sledding - Wahoo!

The boys took full advantage of the snow even though it did not last long! Today is 56 degrees and sunny - we have the doors and windows open and there is still snow on the ground. Crazy weather! The boys are headed back to school tomorrow - end of Spring Break - I think they are kind of bummed but also excited to get back and see their friends.

Spring Break and Snow!!

We received approximately 20 inches of snow yesterday and last night! It has been a really dry winter - not much snow at all! So we were really glad to see some percipitation. The boys are out today sledding - that is a pretty good way to end spring break don't ya think?

I'm also including some pics of the boys swimming at the rec center - they have a really nice one here with slides, lazy river and play area. We took the boys a couple of times this week just to get them out of the house!

Wahoo!!

Yes, Jason got the job! Thank you to everyone who prayed for us - we so appreciate it. He will be CFO of Lehrer's Flowers and will start April 1st. This is a well established business in the Denver area and they are a major wholesaler of flowers in the country. We are looking forward to a long and stable future with them. I think it will be a nice change for Jason just being out of the car business. He is finishing up his masters in accountancy in May and will take the exam for CPA this summer or fall - I think he is ready for things to settle down - I know I am!!

I'm putting up some pics of cards that we will be making in April. I also had a demonstrator's class last night and will put up some pics of that class soon.

What a Great Day!

The weather was absolutely fabulous today - sunny and 65 degrees. We could not let the day pass without taking full advantage of it. We invited our friend Cindy and her kiddos, Johnathon, Davin and Erin to go with us to Castlewood Canyon to go hiking. The kids had a great time - we all needed to get some energy out!

The boys have one more week of school before Spring Break- yeah! Jason will find out about his job on Tuesday so please keep him in your prayers! Take care!

Watch out everyone - I'm blogging now!

I admit it - I put this off as long as I could but if you can't beat them join them, right? I really want to share my love of stamping and my creations along with giving friends and family updates on the Anderson family. So, hopefully I can keep this blog updated.The boys are taking CSAP tests (standardized testing) this week - they are loving it because it means no homework! Jason has a second interview this week so please keep him in your prayers! We took Prissy today to get her shaved and they said they would only groom her once a year from now on since she is having kidney problems - she is 18 years old! I think this may be the start of the end - but she still looks and acts like she feels good! I mean when all you do is sleep and eat tuna -what can go wrong??! Cubby is my shadow - he is the sweetest thing ever! He is definitely my baby. Along with all of that, Grayson has two hamsters - Bubbles and Sandy - Cubby wants to play with them sooo bad! ha
